P&U Global Power & Utilities roundtable programme

Registration
28 - 29 May 2019, Vienna, Austria

Dear Sir or Madam,

The pace of technology-driven change and innovation is accelerating well beyond the speed the energy and utilities sector believed possible. No aspect of the value chain – from upstream generation, through grid and network operations to beyond the meter – is unaffected. From a scale-driven, centralised and standardised model, energy transformation is pushing the sector to evolve to one that is digital, distributed and personalised.

The various disruptive shifts that are taking place require utilities to think very differently about how to leverage innovation as a market enabler. Innovation has never been a capability that the utility industry believed would be required as a table stake for market success. But in the emerging future marketplace, innovation will be a differentiator between those companies that will be recognised as market leaders and those that will simply be ‘part of the pack’. Innovators will be acknowledged for their unique insights into their customers, creative approaches to the market, tailored product and service portfolios and distinctive market channels that access traditional and non-traditional customers.

We would like to invite you to our upcoming roundtable ‘Innovation-driven energy transformation’, which will be held on 29 May 2019 in Vienna, Austria.

This PwC roundtable will discuss how innovations are driving transformation of the energy & utilities industries. We’ll look at the increasing importance of innovations for the success of the sector and hear the viewpoint of global energy & utilities companies on the capabilities that will be needed.

Yours sincerely,
